Iran HDPE price in USD/t
HDPE is one of the most watched Iranian polymer families for export and regional trade. Buyers outside Iran usually need a dollar-per-tonne view — not only rial list prices — and they need both IME (exchange session stats) and OTC (secondary offers).
What “Iran HDPE price” usually means
There is no single national sticker price. A workable quote for grades such as F7000, BL3, or EX5 is a snapshot of:
- IME deal / session level for that grade (when published),
- OTC / secondary offers for a comparable day,
- conversion to USD/t at the market IRR rate (not CBI official FX).
IME vs OTC for HDPE
IME reflects the exchange report after the session. OTC often tracks “what you can buy or sell today” in the secondary market. The spread (OTC − IME) / IME is the quick check before you call a supplier. Negative spread → OTC cheaper than the exchange on that date/grade; positive → OTC richer.
How ICPI shows it
- Ingest IME trade statistics and OTC polymer offers.
- Normalise grade names into comparable families (HDPE, LLDPE, PP, PVC…).
- Convert to USD/t using market IRR on the report date.
- Filter, chart, and export — including history beyond a one-day teaser.
